“Gambino” (2018). Here’s a little surprise release for everyone. I cooked this up before the, “This is America” video, tweaked it, and decided to sit on the release until after the hype died down. I’m drawn to brilliant people who aren’t afraid to be bold and challenge themselves. This dudes resume speaks for itself when it comes to going against the grain and following your heart. He’s not afraid to push buttons either, which, is something I’m known for ;). This is available in four different sizes as a limited edition gallery wrapped print. Available exclusively through me on my website each comes hand signed and ready to hang. Black wood floating frame option available for additional cost. I’ll be giving away one print at random August 7th all you need to do is tag @childishgambino for an entry! Email for all pricing, sales, and inquiries: Me@KyleMosher.com. @childishgambino🤙🏼
"I feel you" Kate Spade Tribute Painting
We’ve lost some amazing people to their own demons the last few months. The series I am currently working on is an embodiment of my own struggles facing down various demons, my own anxiety and depression included. I struggle to find something tasteful and meaningful to write as a tribute; the only thing that seems fitting is, “I feel you.” Reading the sea of comments to the tune of “she had all the money and all the fame”, really shows how little people know about anxiety, depression, and just the general struggle of existing in this world sometimes. Anxiety and depression do not care whether you're rich or poor, black or white, woman or man, or anything in between. Mental health isn’t black and white. Sometimes it’s extremely grey and we don’t even realize we are struggling with it. It can manifest as cloudiness, lethargy, self doubt, withdrawal and so much more. I created this piece as a tribute to Kate, in an attempt to do my part to raise awareness. She was amazing. Though her accomplishments speak for themselves, what was happening on the inside didn’t/couldn’t and will never get the chance to, but, I feel you. I forget who the comedian was but he said something that has resonated with me. It goes something like, “someone asked me what it was like finally becoming famous and I said 'it sucks'. And they asked why and I said, 'because no one asks how I’m doing anymore. Everyone just assumes I’m okay'.” That is one of the most real and accurate things I’ve ever read. Be a friend, be real, acknowledge that life is hard sometimes and please, don’t just assume everyone is okay. Being real about our feelings can still be cool, I promise. “I feel you” 36” x 24” acrylic and vintage paper on canvas. This piece is available to add to your collection. 11” x 17” Limited edition prints are also available. 50% of the profits from this print will be donated to The National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI). Each comes hand signed and numbered. Please email for all pricing, purchasing, and inquiries: Me@KyleMosher.com. 📸 @katherine_kirchner

VANS x Kyle Mosher 2018
I got just a little side tracked the last few years regarding my art and the brand. The end of 2017 and the big Instagram reset was to reframe my creative existence. I'm getting back to what I love and what was the foundation of my art: combining art and culture. Here's a concept for a Kyle Mosher x VANS collaboration that could extend beyond just print and digital marketing collateral. Artists are the new rock-stars, we are visual influencers. I coined that term, you heard it here first. These are available as limited edition prints in my Print Shop.

"The not-so-artist way of being a full-time artist." a podcast by Kyle Mosher
I’m a full-time entrepreneur with a fine-art degree who’s been fired from every real job I’ve ever had. I do a bunch of entrepreneurial things, but always under the umbrella as an “artist”. I have a signature art-style and I operate mostly in the world of culture, music, and fashion. I’ve worked with brands like PUMA, Karmaloop, Bud Light, Radeberger, and more. I’m offering up insight, inspiration, entertainment, crazy stories, rambling’s, and everything in between. Let’s get weird

JAYZ x Kyle Mosher (2018)
“Far from a Harvard student, just had the balls to do it.” One of my all time favorite quotes. I studied art in Italy for a few months with my homie @yung_brett and somehow mid-trip my iPod deleted almost everything I had. One of the albums I was left with was the Black Album. I took it as a sign and studied it like a gospel, word for word. I am forever average in most things. I forever struggle with most things, but when I want something — hell or high water doesn’t stop me and that’s my biggest blessing. I am forever grateful I have that and not talent. This Harvard quote stuck with me forever. Anyway, here’s a commission I just finished for my dude Patrick. “JAY” - 40” x 30”, acrylic and cut-paper on canvas. Bunch more new-new coming soon ✌🏼PHOTO: @katherine_kirchner

Hitting the reset button...
Instagram fam, it's been a wild ride. We've been together since 2011! I owe you a huge debt of gratitude -- you're one of the major reasons I've been able to sustain myself as a full-time artist. You were an instrumental platform in helping me build and create hype, and you also helped connect me with so many amazing and supportive people all around the world......but, with the good also comes the bad, and like all good things, it's time to come to an end (sorta).
If you've spent any amount of time with me in person, it's probably pretty apparent that I have a deep disdain for the way things are in the art world. The gatekeepers, the artists stealing from other artists, the lack of morals in this industry. I've become really jaded and have found that it's negatively affected my attitude, my relationships with people, my creativity, and my art (I'm a diva). In order for me to get back to a better place in art, I need to start-over with a fresh perspective. Self admittedly, I've also stopped progressing as an artist. I stopped growing and I became too comfortable with this brand I built. It became bigger than me and I lost control of it. Thus, I need a reset. For me, a reset looks like starting over from scratch. I need to cut ties with the fake love, the yes-men, the gatekeepers, and the overall toxic environment that came with a brand growing faster than I could keep up with. I want to regain creative control and content control. I'm going to be cutting ties with most - if not all - of my licensing companies to limit how saturated my work has become in the market. From day one it was always about the art and creating something that was both authentic and unique, and connected with people, but I lost control of all of that. With that being said, I've remade a new Instagram account with the name @thekylemosher. I've been thinking about this for over a year now, and today was the final tipping point. I want this to be a more intimate and real relationship between the audience and myself. The power should always be in the hands of the artists and their collectors, not the galleries and gatekeepers. For those that want to come along for this new journey, take a second a give me a follow. Lots of big changes on the way and the best art is yet to come, I'm sure of it. Really appreciate everyone for following along.
